eat healthy . . . drink beer

allison and i went with michael and ashley to keystone yesterday for the BEER and bluegrass festival.  even-though it was great to listen to, we weren't exactly there for the music...  with 30+ breweries handing out all kinds of great beer, the party was virtually unstoppable.

friday night was awesome btw.  i finally got up in front of a crowd and played.  the keller cover went off without a hitch, which was my personal goal...but i had some equipment issues on jive's song "doomsday".  first of all, i didn't have any overdrive for my sound, so i played clean...meh.  the amp i was using kept cutting out right in the middle of the song, and i had to switch out my cable.  it totally killed my groove.  but it was a rad experience nonetheless and i'm grateful for jive lettin me sit in with them.  the live setting is completely different from rehearsal, anything can happen and sometimes there's no way to avoid mistakes.

after the set we chilled around tPine and played a little nightbee in the parking lot.  we then proceeded to drum jam on the bus.  good times.  chris and i walked home...faded and talkative.  good night everyone.
